Tasheena is a LEADers graduate who is currently serving with PPMD as an AmeriCorps member. She will serve as our Volunteer Coordinator through July 2024. During that time, she will engage with our LEADers graduates and organize anyone who wants to further volunteer with PPMD. Tasheena has spent the last 10 years navigating the special education system as an advocate for her 16-year-old who has dyslexia. She looks forward to her role serving the community that has empowered her on her family’s journey.
